Vancouver Cansing Choir Fall 2025 Registration is Open

Registration is now open for the Vancouver Cansing Choir! You can register by clicking here: Vancouver Cansing Registration. There are two options: sign up as a new member or register as a returning member (for those who attended the last session, January to May 2025).

The registration deadline is Friday, September 19th, to ensure we have all materials ready for our first rehearsal on Tuesday, September 23rd, from 8:00 to 9:15 pm at Cityview. The annual Vancouver Foodbank Benefit Winter Concert will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 2nd, at Immanuel Baptist Church.

The Vancouver Cansing Choir is a non-auditioned, welcoming community choir open to singers of all levels. The only requirement is that you can sing a melody in tune—if you are unsure, please ask the conductor. Whether you are looking for connection, music-making, or simply the joy of singing together, you will find it here.

Please note that your registration is only complete once payment has been submitted, unless you have contacted me directly. If you are a returning member and prefer to pay by cheque at the first rehearsal, please email me. Bursaries are available for those facing financial challenges—just reach out to me by email.

We have a limit of 65 singers due to the number of music copies we have ordered, so please register early. Children who are in grade 5 and up are welcome to join if accompanied by a parent, though not on their own.
