Everything’s Coming up Roses

The CanSing Primary, Intermediate singers and Adult Choir are excited about “singing into spring” with a short performance, EVERYTHING’S COMING UP ROSES, Saturday, March 12, 2:30pm at Cityview Baptist Church (Riley Park neighbourhood).
The singers will weave a little seasonal magic with everything from “Ice Cream” (Anne of Green Gables), “The Spider and the Fly”, “Sing, Sing, Sing”, “Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning” to a mass choir performance of “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen” (Roger Emerson version). There’s even some talk amongst the Primary choristers that the group will pull out a rendition of the Canadian folksong, “The Little Skunk”!
Plans are in progress for the Primary and Intermediate singers to record the mini-musicals: “The Jolly Crawly Bugs” and “Winter Solstice News” following their spring choir session.
